“Food & Jazz from the Wine”, the new season hits the ground running!
A fourth season full of news and unmissable events! 13 new concerts #FJDV in the program of the 2018-2019 season, organized by the Perugia Big Band Cultural Association: it focuses on Young Talents and the Excellence of the Territory.
Food & Jazz from the Wine is based on the tested Jazz Dinner formula (with concerts after dinner and food and wine tastings): it is a pleasant mix that combines and merges personal feelings and the improvisation in jazz musicians’ performances, the bouquets and aromas of the wines from important partner wineries and tasty dishes. A skilful local cuisine, which the Staff of the Hotel Giò, led by Salvatore De Iaco, chooses to enhance favouring tasty Umbrian recipes but not forgetting even some well-known quotes from outside the Region.
This year an actual journey between wine and artistic excellences of Umbria begins: #bottigliedautore. #bottigliedautore is a regional project, which can potentially be a piece of the promotion of our territory, more specifically of its wine products and its artists, through bottles to collect, which can increase their value over the time.The 12 Artists who took part to “Assaggi d’Autore” in the 2017/2018 season, created a work dedicated to this new Season, while the 12 wineries invited to join the project printed a limited number of labels, numbered, signed by the chosen Artist, which will dress as many bottles.
